I once saw a documentary on Kiva, I just had no idea it was so easy to participate. You get to loan 25 bucks to a low-income entrepreneur in a third world country, interest free. That is essentially like the charity you give, the interest you might have gained on your 25 otherwise. The person borrowing does pay interest of 10%, that is much less than they would otherwise.
