I am discovering complicated raw dishes are great for occasions and that most of all I like food very simple. Here are the ingredients I most often find myself using:
fresh lemon juice, fresh ginger, cups of raw nuts and seeds, Udo’s oil, flax seed oil, soy sauce (raw soy sauce is nama shoyu), raw tahini, carrots, oranges, avocados, grapefruit, bananas, tomatoes, spinach, fresh basil, fresh cilantro, fresh parsley, green onions, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, olives, olive oil, vinegars, apples, honey, nori rolls (seaweed).
These I use less often: Sun dried tomatoes, figs, dates, sesame seeds, miso, Bubbies sauerkraut, apple butter, pumpkin seed butter, hemp nut butter, raw almond butter
What is there that especially takes me off raw? potatoes, bread, Bob’s Red Mill oatmeal, hot sauces
