This is a great question and one that I’m often asked. If you visited my house, you’d see a whole cupboard devoted to different teas, but I once cut them out of my life — when I first went raw. I reintroduced them because of their amazing healing properties. I realised that I was raw for health reasons, and herbal teas defo fall into the healthy category, so they’re in my life. I make the best teas in the world (normally with a base of pau d’arco, purple corn and olive leaf, mixing them with powdered superfoods such as raw chocolate powder, maca, mesquite etc. I then sometimes add hemp milk and agave nectar or yacon syrup. My teas are often meals, as I have to keep well hydrated with breastfeeding, so the superfoods in the tea give me fast and sustained energy. The anti-parasitical, anti-viral, anti-fungal and antioxidant nature of my teas ensures I never get ill any more, too, which is obviously a big bonus!
We need to remember, the question isn’t “Is it conforming to someone else’s dogma?” it’s “does it serve me?” Herbal tea defo serves me, and I serve it to everyone who frequents my abode!
Love and thanks
If you visit her site the tea additives she uses are links to other pages in her site that explain all about what they are, very cool. There is a whole world out there just waiting for us! I am very excited about this!
