One of my favorite dishes used to be linguini (because that surface area holds onto the most flavor) and olive oil, soy sauce, and hot sauce.
Last night I was reading about zucchini in the excellent book,Vegetables from Amaranth to Zucchini, where it said the standard issue of zucchini lacks a flavor. Hey so do noodles, they really take on what you put on them, flour noodles alone aren’t some big flavor. So I whittled a couple zucchinis into a bowl with a peeler and put my favorite noodle sauce on and voila! Delish!
